We greatly enjoyed it, its stuff and location. The rooms where very clean and the beds were comfy. Nostrand Avenue subway station was relatively near the hotel.

The location is so bad. The train in front of the hotel is so noisy.

Hotel is comfy and clean. Front desk staff is friendly and makes me feel safe, knowing that there is a doorman in addition to the front desk staff. Convenient location if using lirr train station.

Cleopatra was very nice. The shower plug thing broke in the room and she came up and fixed it even though I told her we could wait for maintenance to fix it the next day.
I went in about a week before to check it out and some man who said he was the manager called me "dude" when I asked him to please make sure to put us in a room in the back away from the train and he apparently got annoyed since I asked him a second time when he did not respond to me the first time. Then there were nasty hairs in the bathroom when we got there and our sheets and towels were not changed out during our 5 nights there and I did not want to say anything while we were there because I was afraid of the "manager" retaliating or trying to do something so I kept my mouth shut.

We did not like the fact that they changed the towels on a daily basis. Although this felt wonderful, we thought (based on the note in the room) that this would not be done to save the environment.

The hotel exeeded my expectations. It's a 3 star property but it was more like 4. The rooms were not huge but the bed was comfortable and clean. It had good temperature control facilities, a fridge not full of mini bar and a big TV with plenty of channels. The price was very good for New York and the hotel seems pretty modern. Plus, you get to experience a side o0f New York you would not see if you stayed in Manhattan like most people do. I would stay again for sure.
We only got 2 free bottles of water on our first night. It would have been nice to get a new pair each day.

It was quite convenient to where I was doing business, and was quite surprised at the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, considering the work being done in that area (elevated subway).
Off-street parking at the property was scarce, and unattainable at the time of my check in (9pm)

The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple and not varied. The staff is just so so. Note that hotel is located in Brooklyn. We chose this hotel because of price, because Manhattan is unreasonably expensive. The Subway station is about 6 min by walk. Wall street is about 15 min, Time square is about 25 - 30 min by Subway.
Deposit was not accepted by cash. We had to use our debit card, all charges (for all nights) were blocked on the card, and it was released 2 weeks (!) after check-out. We know the hotel released it at time of check-out, and it is because of foreign bank, but cash should have been accepted in order to avoid inconveniences.

1. It is a very good location for international travellers coming in from jfk. 2. It has all the facilities I need -- wifi internet, iron & ironing board, coffee make. 3. Friendly reception staff.
